This policy explains how AM Kitchen Consultancy ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information you share when you use this website, amkitchenconsultancy.uk. We are the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

• Contact form submissions: name, email address, optional phone number, and message content.
• Kitchen Roast submissions: first name, email address, optional phone number, supplier name, budget range, and any files you choose to upload (plans, renders or quotes).
• Booking calls: when you book via Calendly, Calendly processes your name, email and any answers you provide on their booking form. See Calendly's privacy policy.
• Basic analytics: the website may set cookies that record anonymous usage information (pages viewed, browser type). No personal profile is built.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry or arrange a kitchen consultation.
• To review your uploaded plans and provide independent feedback (Kitchen Roast).
• To send follow-up emails relating to your enquiry.
• To improve the website and understand which pages homeowners find most useful.

Your information is never sold, rented or shared with third-party marketing companies.

Lawful basis for processing

We rely on legitimate interests (responding to enquiries you initiate) and consent (where you choose to receive follow-up information). You can withdraw consent at any time.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months after our last contact, after which it is deleted. Uploaded files are retained only as long as needed to provide feedback (typically 6 months) unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Who we share with

We use the following third parties to operate the site. Each only receives the minimum data needed:

• Microsoft 365 (Outlook): sends and receives email enquiries.
• Calendly: handles call bookings.
• MongoDB Atlas: stores enquiry records on secure UK/EU servers.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct or delete it
• Object to or restrict processing
• Request a copy of your data in portable form
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk
